Kress mowers take the crown at Eton
“Six or seven months ago I didn’t think I’d ever be interested in robotics. Then I heard about the Kress solution — and I was sold.”—Lee Marshallsay, Grounds manager
Eton College—one of the world’s most recognised boys’ boarding schools—has taken a major step towards electric grounds care with an initial order of 35 Kress RTKⁿ robotic mowers.
From the riverside rowing grounds to the boarding house lawns, Eton’s vast estate is now maintained with centimeter-level accuracy and zero exhaust fumes. While the sports fields remain under manual care, the transition has begun — and it’s turning heads.
