KC340.9 Commercial-grade 60 V chainsaw

Designed for landscaping companies and municipalities seeking to integrate sustainable practices into their operations, this Kress Commercial chainsaw is the most powerful in our range. It delivers a massive 3.8 kW output—equivalent to a 70 cc petrol saw. But unlike petrol engines that lose torque under load, it provides instant, consistent torque—outperforming petrol saws exactly when it matters most: large-diameter hardwood felling and high-demand removal tasks. As part of the Kress Commercial CyberSystem, it delivers high-end performance with the advantage of lower operating costs compared to gas and other battery systems. Learn more › Learn less

Ready for unstoppable power?
The Kress chainsaw offers a new level of consistent performance under varying loads, without stalling. In contrast, in 2-stroke engine chainsaws of similar power, performance can significantly diminish under heavy loads, leading to potential stalling.
Learn moreIt’s physics, not marketing
Internal combustion engines are intrinsically different from electric motors. 2-stroke engines deliver their maximum torque and power at specific RPMs. They need to reach a certain speed to achieve optimal performance. When encountering resistance, like cutting through a large trunk with a chainsaw, the engine's RPM can drop, leading to a decrease in torque, potentially to a point where it cannot overcome the resistance of cutting through hardwood. This reduction in torque can cause the chainsaw to stall, as the engine no longer provides sufficient power to continue the cutting action. This effect can only be mitigated by increasing the motor displacement, at the cost of weight and fuel consumption. Conversely, electric motors deliver maximum torque immediately from zero RPMs. The instant torque availability ensures that the chainsaw maintains cutting power under heavy loads without stalling.

Power that matches the pros
Designed for arborists and commercial landscapers, this chainsaw packs the power of a 65 cc gas saw with a pro-grade chain and bar. Its high 30 m/s chain speed ensures effortless large-diameter hardwood felling and demanding removal tasks.

Integrated safety for confidence in every cut
Designed with professional safety in mind, this chainsaw is equipped with an inertia-activated brake, anti-trigger battery lock, dual-action trigger, and reinforced side protection on the rear handle—ensuring control and safety even in demanding conditions.

Precision tensioning
This Kress chainsaw features a tensioning system that’s designed for quick and accurate chain adjustments. The tooled mechanism ensures the chain is consistently at optimal tension, enhancing cutting efficiency and prolonging the life of the chainsaw.

Engineered for Arborists
A rugged steel bumper spike anchors the saw for enhanced stability and precision, allowing arborists to make cleaner, more controlled cuts with confidence.
