Warranty statement

If your Kress Mission becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within a period of 3 years for consumers from the date of purchase, we guarantee to:

  • Replace or repair all defective parts, free of charge, or
  • Repair products free of charge, or
  • Replace the unit with a new or re-conditioned unit, free of charge.

Your warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • Registration on http://account.kress-robotik.com/ within 30 days of purchase. (without registration, only 24 months warranty will apply for consumers i.e. natural persons who use the device for private use)
  • For Mission Mega RTKⁿ products, besides above consumer warranty, also provide a 12 month warranty for professional users regardless of online registration.
  • Battery packs are guaranteed for a 12 month period only, regardless of online registration and the type of customer.
  • The tool has not been misused, abused, neglected, altered, modified or repaired by anyone other than an authorized service center.
  • Only genuine Kress Mission accessories and parts have been used on or with the product.
  • The tool has been subjected to fair wear and tear.
  • The tool has not been used for rental purposes.
  • The tool has not sustained damage through foreign objects, substances or accidents.
  • Battery/product at a outside temperature below 0°C has to be stored frost free (indoor).

Your warranty does not cover:

  • Components that are subject to natural wear and tear caused by use in accordance with operating instructions.
  • Unauthorized/improper maintenance/handling or overload is excluded from this warranty as are accessories such as bulbs, blades and bits, etc.
  • Damage, malfunctions or failure resulting from high pressure washer, steam or running water cleaning the product.

For guarantee claims, you will need to submit a registration document and proof of purchase in the form of a valid receipt that displays date and place of purchase. This guarantee statement does not replace but is in addition to your statutory rights. This warranty does not apply to accessories supplied with the tool. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred. All repairs and replacement tools will be covered by the limited warranty for the balance of the warranty period from the date of the original purchase.

Right to make changes
Kress reserves the right to make any changes to Kress products or warranty coverage at any time without incurring any obligation with respect to any product.

Introduction
As an industry-leading tool manufacturer, Kress is committed to your satisfaction. Our commitment to you, the original purchaser, is simple: satisfaction from an issue-free tool. In fulfilling our commitment, Kress is pleased to offer you warranty coverage based on the terms below. Kress will, through its authorized dealer network, repair or replace any part or tool that is determined to be defective due to issues in materials or workmanship within the warranty period from the date of the original purchase. Warranty coverage begins on the original retail date and extends only to the original purchaser. If your Kress product requires warranty repair, proof of purchase will be necessary. Please keep record of this transaction.

If your Kress product is determined to be defective due to issues in materials or workmanship within the warranty period, we will do one of the following:

  • Replace or repair all defective parts,
  • Repair a defective unit, or
  • Replace the unit with a new or reconditioned unit.

Customer responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to use the tool according to the operator’s manual and to maintain the equipment in accordance with all maintenance instructions. If by chance you happen to experience a defect in material or workmanship, we recommend removing the tool from use and ceasing its operation until it can be inspected and serviced by a Kress dealer or authorized service center.

Warranty coverage
This Warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • The tool has not been misused, abused, neglected, altered, or modified.
  • The tool has not been serviced or repaired by anyone other than a Kress authorized dealer or service center.
  • Defect or damage to the tool has not resulted from use of accessories or parts that are inappropriate for normal operation of the tool, or that are not designed for use with the tool.
  • The tool has been subjected to reasonable and normal wear and tear only.
  • The tool has not been used for rental purposes except as part of a rental program administered by a registered Kress dealer.
  • The tool has not sustained damage through contact with foreign objects, corrosive or otherwise damaging chemicals, or accidents.
  • Warranty coverage periods can be found below.

Your warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear resulting from use of the tool.
  • Failure to maintain the tool in accordance with operating instructions.
  • Failure to the Cyber Tank when it is used in the rain or wet condition.
  • Improper maintenance or handling of the tools, including overloading the tool.
  • Replacement of accessories or parts intended to wear out or be replaced after their useful life, including but not limited to blades and chains, etc.
  • Rental of replacement equipment during the repair period.
  • Freight and handling charges for service parts.
  • Repairs performed by anyone other than a Kress dealer or authorized service center.
  • Lost business, lost profits, or other consequential damages.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. KRESS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL NOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

*The warranty period can be extended if owner completes registration within 30 days from the data of purchase.

Warranty repair
All repairs must be completed by an authorized Kress dealer or authorized service center within the Europe. For warranty coverage, please visit your local authorized Kress dealer or authorized service center. This warranty does not replace, but is in addition to, your statutory rights. Some jurisdictions may provide additional protections; check your local law for statutory warranty provisions. This warranty does not apply to accessories supplied with the tool. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred. All repairs and replacement tools will be covered by the warranty for the balance of the warranty period from the date of the original purchase.

The warranty period for after-sales service for Kress tools is:
For 40V and 60V Kress Tool, we offer home users a 5-year warranty from date of purchase, except accessories and consumables. (It’s subject to registration on the Internet at www.kress.com within 30 days of purchase. Without registration, only a 24-month warranty will apply.) We offer professional users a one-year warranty from date of purchase, except accessories and consumables.
For 20V Kress Tool, we offer home users a 3-year warranty from date of purchase, except accessories and consumables. (It’s subject to registration on the Internet at www.kress.com within 30 days of purchase. Without registration, only a 24-month warranty will apply.)
Battery Packs and Chargers are guaranteed for 24 months’ period only, regardless of online registration.

For guaranteed products, duly confirmed by the sales receipt presented, Kress guarantees the following:

  • Replace or repair all defective parts free of charge; or
  • Repair the product for free; or
  • Replace the product with the same or similar product at no cost.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to the following cases:

  • Malfunction of the tool resulting from the natural wear and tear of the product, its components, machines, mechanical components and accessories, such as: electric cables, blades, transmission belts, filters, carbon brushes, fixing devices and supports;
  • Damage caused by violation of the rules of operation or storage or maintenance of the equipment specified in the user manual;
  • Damage caused by the improper use of tools (improper use);
  • Damage resulting from overheating, overload, mechanical stress, penetration of precipitations, liquids, insects or non-residual substances in the tool body that accompany its use for its intended purpose (chips, sawdust);
  • Damage caused due to the non-conformity of the power supply network parameters with the requirements for the power supply network indicated on the tool;
  • Damage caused by cleaning tools with chemically aggressive liquids;
  • Tools that have been repaired or serviced outside of an authorized Kress service center;
  • The tool has been misused, abused, neglected, altered, modified or repaired by anyone other than an authorized service center;
  • Repairs made with spare parts, replacement parts or additional components that are not provided by Kress, as well as for damage resulting from the use of non-original spare parts.

For guarantee claims, please contact your local dealer who you buy your product from. You will need to submit proof of purchase in the form of a valid receipt that displays date and place of purchase.
This warranty statement is not a substitute for, but is in addition to, your legal rights.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
All repairs and replacement tools will be covered by the limited warranty for the balance of the warranty period from the date of original purchase.
